Externships* (Real Work Experience)

Outside externships are incorporated into the last term of your program curriculum to help you gain practical experience. They also provide a great resource for gathering contacts and may even lead to a full-time position.

*Externships not available for all programs.

Clinical Hours

For our Practical Nurse and Physical Therapist Assistant programs, part of your curriculum includes hands-on experience in an actual clinical setting to help you gain practical on-the-job experience. This clinical training also provides access to valuable contacts that could help lead to a full-time position.

*Clinical hours not included in all programs.

Annual Career Fair

Each year PSI holds a Job Fair with a variety of employers attending this special event. Career Fairs are a great way to learn about potential employers, network with employer contacts and obtain helpful career information.

Job Placement Opportunities*

PSI’s Career Services Department assists graduates with finding employment opportunities.* Networking with prospective employers, PSI Career Service Specialists strive to match businesses that have employment needs with PSI graduates suited for those positions.
