Scholarship Opportunities for your Education

Professional Skills Institute awards four Patricia A. Finch (PAF) $1,000 High School Scholarships per year to high school seniors that have applied for a program offered in the Summer quarter of each academic year for the Medical Assisting, Medical Billing and Coding Specialist, and Practical Nurse programs and the Fall quarter of each academic year for the Physical Therapist Assistant program. There will be one scholarship for each of the four currently State approved programs per year. This scholarship is non-renewable and will be applied evenly to each quarter over the student’s enrollment.

Eligibility Requirements for the PAF High School Scholarship:

The following are the eligibility requirements necessary to apply for the PAF HS scholarship:

  1. Applicant must be a current high school senior
  2. Provide a copy of his/her current high school transcript
  3. Complete the PSI Scholarship Application
  4. Take and successfully pass the Wonderlic Scholastic Level Exam
  5. Complete a written essay on why they have chosen their particular career path
  6. Provide 3 letters of recommendation
  7. Complete a personal interview with the PSI Scholarship Committee
  8. Be recommended by the PSI Scholarship Committee
