Professional Skills Institute provides a comprehensive nursing program offering to allow students to seamlessly complete the full range of nursing education. The nursing career track begins with the Practical Nurse program, followed by the LPN to RN Bridge program, and finally to the RN to BSN degree completion program.

At Professional Skills Institute, our Practical Nurse program gives you the hands-on training and support you need to begin a rewarding career in healthcare. With experienced instructors and real-world clinical experience, you’ll be prepared to make a difference—fast.
Our Practical Nurse program is designed to provide theoretical knowledge and clinical competence necessary to prepare competent and caring practical nursing graduates for entry-level positions under the direction of a Registered Nurse, Physician, Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant. Upon successful completion of the program, the graduate will earn a diploma and may be eligible to apply to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN)*.
Bridge from LPN to RN with Confidence
Our LPN to RN Bridge program lets you build on your existing skills and advance to the role of Registered Nurse. Designed for working LPNs, this flexible and focused program puts your RN goals within reach.
The LPN to RN Bridge program is meant for Licensed Practical Nurses who have completed a practical nursing program and have already earned a diploma with at least 48 quarter credit hours, or the equivalent in semester hours. Upon successful completion of the program, the graduate will earn an Associate of Applied Science degree and may be eligible to apply to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN)*.
The hybrid learning format offered in our Practical Nurse and LPN to RN Bridge programs combines a supportive, hands-on, campus-based education environment with the independence and flexibility of online learning.

The online RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree (BSN) program at PSI is created specifically for working Licensed Registered Nurses. A BSN degree provides expanded career opportunities and greater mobility within the field. Graduates are equipped to integrate leadership skills and professional nursing values, clinical reasoning, evidence-based practice, and commitment to continuous professional development to promote quality health outcomes. PSI’s comprehensive curriculum builds upon your current nursing knowledge and experience to prepare you to provide patient-centered, compassionate, and safe nursing care based on research evidence, clinical expertise, and patient/family values.
A Tuition Grant is available for the PSI RN to BSN program! PSI will award quarterly renewable $750 grants, up to a maximum of $4,500, to students enrolling in the RN to BSN Degree completion program. Restrictions and Eligibility Requirements apply.
